Can an AERON/TPU airtube be repaired/patched?

Yes, with self-adhesive patches from AERON/TPU, which are available separately. Classic vulcanizing patches for butyl tubes are not compatible with AERON/TPU airtubes.

The AERON/TPU airtube has turned yellow after use, why?

Softeners from the rubber of the tire can migrate into the air tube. However, the discoloration is not a sign of a defect or reduced functionality.
