Can an AERON/TPU airtube be repaired/patched?

AERON/TPU offers patch kits which contain patches in differnt sizes as well as alcohol cleaning wipes and TPU glue. With this you can easily repair your AERON/TPU tubes. Classic vulcanizing patches for butyl tubes are not compatible with AERON/TPU airtubes.

Softeners from the rubber of the tire can migrate into the air tube. However, the discoloration is not a sign of a defect or reduced functionality.
